Turbo Charge

Turbo Charge! The Shockingly Swift Avenger!

"Sonic the Hedge-Who??? what the heck is a Flash?? Quick Silvery?? Never heard of em'! Turbo Charge is my name, and speed is the game!"

Robert Rhodes was a prominent physicist interning his sophomore year of college at the newly constructed Hyperdine Labs Super Particle Collider. As Robert was working on some numbers and figures, he noticed a fellow intern student, Max Martin was tampering with data from a recent test to make his figures seem more correct then they were. Robert felt that he had no choice but to report this to his supervisor. The resulting consequence of this action sent Max Martin into a suspension of his credits and cost him a valuable slot in a future job with work on particle physics.

The very next week, on a scheduled testing of the Hyperdine Collider, Max Martin sabotaged the power output systems, and directing the resulting explosive energy into the study booth that Robert Rhodes was sure to be in at the time of the experiment. Robert began to notice things weren't right with the experiment's energy readouts, and just as he left the protected seal of the room, a massive explosive flash ensued, which struck him and Max Martin with a flood of super collided particles.

The resulting flash of light and energy modified their bodies and accelerated their particles giving them both the abilities of super speed. When Rob awoke, he found himself unharmed but unable to control his body, every time he moved he would move at an uncanny speed, and to top it off he also was able to eject lightning from his body. Robert had absorbed quite a bit more of the energy then Max, and thus began to glow and vibrate at tremendous speeds. Max Martin had also become fast and in a bid to gain himself all that he had lost in his academic life, he vowed to kill Robert Rhodes in revenge, and embarked on his own road of theft and villainy.

Note: As Turbo Charge reaches full velocity he can generate pure electricity from his motion. His helmet is linked to a Super Satellite of his own design and tied to a special super computer which can assist him in trajectory travel routes and detailed building layouts. This special satellite can transmit this data via a subspace link, which moves faster then the speed of light, allowing him to receive the data in real time as he is running at top speeds. His inner helmet view gives him a heads up display and records his body changes.. as he speeds.. .along his arms, fists and boots are mini Tesla coils, which store and amplify the electrical energy generated by his intense body motion. This energy can be directed to his fists and create the ultra knock back power known as the famous static punch! A static charge that he could eventually use to direct at any enemy in another form, the Static Stomp!. These attacks can knock an enemy back or several off their feet at once!

Eventually Turbo Charge was approached by Star Superion and joined the Guardian Legion.

Captain Kosmos

Captain Kosmos!
The Crimson Knight of Might!

The Quantum Cosmic is the power source that fuels the super hero known as Captain Kosmos! The arm bands that exude glowing blue energy are ancient and extremely powerful. It is unknown how long or how many millions of years the Quantum Cosmic arm bands lay in wait for a suitable bearer. It was not until the great galactic storm just outside of the Sol solar system, that wrenched the stasis ship Gameddon from it's crashed slumber in the asteroid belt surrounding the Earth that the Quantum cosmic bands ended up in the hands of Salvage Captain James Reese.

Unknown to James, his discovery of the Quantum Cosmic Bands discovered the burnt wreckage of an ancient alien stasis ship. within the confines of the craft, James discovered a glowing energy behind a small glass container with massive tubes, and symbols of glowing energy floating around it. touching the machine released the containment, and a flurry of gas expelled from around the seal. with a flash of energy, four light blue glowing rings each interconnected and revolving around in a circular pattern. The rings began to separate, and immediately attached themselves to James wrists.

Scared and helpless, James found himself begin to dissolve out of existence, and materialized on an alien world. Before James, a massive Stone temple, with a giant tome symbol etched above the door, opening before him. On entering the temple, James comes face to face with a holographic form of the once ancient aliens who guarded the secret of the Quantum Cosmic.

Telepathically, the sum total of all the ancients was fed into the memory of James Reese. With his mind on fire, his body became covered in armor, and his existence became clear. As the bearer of the Quantum Cosmic his destiny is to maintain the balance life in the universe. To create Order and defend those who are helpless, on that day the mind and body of James Reese cease to be, he had been reborn to the galaxy as Captain Kosmos!

Powers and Abilities:

Captain Kosmos has the power to project massive energy beams akin to an energy blaster..he can use his bands to transmute energy into matter..but he can only do so on a small scale..he can use the bands to create warp matrix fields, and fly through space at speeds akin to warp 12. He can also produce energy shielding to protect his body, and can stretch it to extend over a large space, but only for a limited time, and it looses it's strength.

James retains his humanity, however, little by little he looses it over time.. a difficult situation for him..his mind is directly linked to the power of the Quantum Cosmic, so much so that when he is corrupted by the chaos energy flowing from the well of time in the infinity saga, his subconscious mind, and personal demons take on a realistic form, and transform him into the monstrous creature, Kaiser Kaos!

the bands do hover above his wrists, and glow off and on, when defeated or knocked unconscious, his wrist bands deactivate and cease to glow..but his armored form is slowing becoming his natural skin..the man within is slowly dissolving over time, due to the tremendous energy of the power..eventually he discovers that he is no longer there inside the suit, but is in fact the suit and his conscious mind has merged with the Quantum Cosmic..

by transmuting the matter of his body, temporarily he can create a pseudo human form akin to his original, but this is for show only, and must revert back to his armor after several days..this is the curse of defending the galaxy under the Ancients tool...eventually in the end, James Reese looses all of his humanity, and ceases to see himself, as human..but rather ultimately a demigod..something he doesn't truly want, but is stuck with none the less..

the symbol of Captain Kosmos:

Tomoe - (Toh-moh-ay) This symbol is frequently seen on Buddhist and Shinto temples. Its name means turning or circular energy, referring to the motion of the earth. The Tomoe represents the play of forces in the cosmos. Visually, the Tomoe is made up of interlocked flames resembling tadpoles. These are energy patterns revolving through space and time, ever replenished from the center of all being. The most common Tomoe emblem has three flames and reflects the earth, the heavens, and humankind. To use the Tomoe in a personal spiritual practice, is to invite infinitely accelerated power of the cosmos to be part of your consciousness, providing balanced and abundance support for all endeavors. Universally, the Tomoe radiates a never-ending source of energy from the interaction of all three forces creating Regenerative Cosmic Consciousness as the source of all Creation. Water becomes vibrantly energized with this symbol.
